The No. 5 pit crew is comprised of a dynamic and diverse group of individuals that bring together brains and athleticism each week. Trey Burklin, the team’s jackman, is a former college backup quarterback and Johnny Roberts, the front-tire changer, originally wanted to be a professional surfer. In addition to their duties over the wall, Kip Wolfmeier and Ben Fischbeck work full time in the No. 5 and No. 24 shops and front-tire carrier, Michael Oxendine, graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and physics. The team gasman, Chris Fasulka, has been fueling for more than 10 years and together, this army of talent strives for success each time Kasey makes a trip down pit road.
